The Association was formed in 1952

Thank you for visiting our site. As an up-to-date Association we want to give you the opportunity to stay in touch  with our Clubs and Societies and Exhibitions.

In brief, you should know the following about us: our Association was established in 1952, to Foster Co-Operation between Clubs Situated at the Boundary of the N.C.P.F. and the Yorkshire P.U. Because at that time, many of  the NCPF's judges and lecturers were based in the Tyne/Wear area and found travelling to the south of the Federation difficult.

The NYSDPA then went on to produce it's own list of judges and lecturers, it held competitions, exhibitions, seminars and ran schools for judges, many of whom joined the Federation circuit, all of which are still going strong. There have been one week exhibition, held in the Cleveland Centre  Shopping Mall in Middlesbrough and one year in James Cook Hospital, which have been seen by hundreds of people. This is manned by stewards from the various member clubs and societies, who meet and talk to the public, dispensing advice and information about the various activities and clubs. The stewards find this a very interesting and rewarding experience.

In the meantime you can reach us at any of the Associations addresses, and are looking forward to hearing from you. You can also contact us at our e-mail address:
